One of the biggest trends in 2013-2014 is “hashtagging” your wedding or event and informing your guests to use that Hashtag whenever taking pictures with Instagram & Twitter.. We take it one step further by offering you and your guests the chance to immediately print those photos to take home or to place in the bride and groom’s memory book. Not only will your guests help document your event or reception with their smartphones, they’ll be able to print all those pictures too!
How the Nexus Instagram Print Station Works
The first thing to do is create a unique & custom #Hashtag for your reception or event that everyone can remember. Examples are #SmithWedding2014, #LincolnHighProm, #OUKappaFormal, etc. Make sure to make signs, banners, announcements, etc. to let your guests know what the #hashtag is for the event.
*Also Make Sure Their Instagram & Twitter Profile is set to PUBLIC (Not Private) or the Nexus Instagram Print Station will not be able to display them.
Let your guests know that once they take pics with their smartphones to type in the designated custom #Hashtag when they upload them to Instagram or Twitter. After a few minutes, the Nexus Instagram Print Station will display those pics on its touchscreen. The guests can then scroll through and find those pics on the Nexus Instagram Print Station and print them out right there!
We will always have a attendant with the Nexus Instagram Print Station to assist your guests with the process and let your guests know how to operate it.
Our Nexus Instagram Print Station uses high quality photo paper with dimensions of 4×6 inches. The users can print off as many copies of the pictures as they desire. The prints are completely customizable for each event, including backgrounds, fonts, colors, logos, and size of the actual picture. You can even customize the prints to keep or remove the username on the photos, status message, and date on the pics.
After the event, we can put all the Instagram & Twitter Photos that have been saved on the Nexus Instagram Print Station on a thumb drive for Bride & Groom or Organizer of the event to make more copies on their own or upload to their Facebook pages.
